Why the POI paper matters here

Premature ovarian insufficiency sits exactly where this practice sits: it is a menopause diagnosis with fertility consequences and long-term effects on bone and cardiovascular health. Documenting a pregnancy and live birth after hormone replacement in that setting is a reminder that a POI diagnosis is a reason for a careful, individualised plan rather than a closed door.
