How do I book a consultation with Dr. Munawwer Sana?
Send a WhatsApp message to +91 91541 56894 or use the booking form on this site, which opens a pre-filled message. Appointments are usually confirmed the same working day. No referral letter is needed. Dr. Sana replies personally rather than through a front desk or call centre.
Are online consultations available across India?
Yes. Video consultations are available to patients anywhere in India, and to Indian patients living abroad. Investigations can be completed at an accredited laboratory near you and reviewed remotely. Travel to Hyderabad is needed only for examination, imaging or procedures at Apollo Fertility.
How long is a consultation and what happens in it?
A first consultation lasts about 45 minutes: a structured history, a line-by-line review of your existing reports, an explanation of the likely diagnosis, and a written plan with the recommended pathway and timeline. The written plan is shared after the call so you have it in writing.
Can I get a second opinion on a plan from another clinic?
Yes, and it is one of the commonest reasons patients make contact. Share the proposed plan with your investigations and you will receive a candid assessment of whether it fits the diagnosis, which parts are essential and which are optional. Where the existing plan is sound, that is confirmed.
What documents should I send before the appointment?
Send hormone reports, a recent pelvic ultrasound or antral follicle count, semen analysis where relevant, discharge summaries from any previous cycles or surgery, and a current medication list. PDFs are preferred to photographs. Sharing records in advance keeps the consultation focused on decisions rather than data collection.
How quickly are WhatsApp questions answered?
Messages are read and answered personally, usually within one working day, between clinic and theatre sessions. WhatsApp suits an initial question or arranging care. Severe pain, heavy bleeding, chest pain, breathlessness or acute mental-health concerns need urgent local medical attention, not a message.
